"The Studio Place, changing lives through fashion”

Originally started in 1996 as “Children Of Promise” by Wynette Jones of St. Louis, MO.

The program began as a way to keep teenagers safe and occupied during the summer months.

The program covered basic to advanced sewing skills, production of fashion shows, networking and presentation skills, working backstage at charity fashion shows and assisting with art direction on photoshoots, video and television productions. After years of working in almost every aspect of the fashion industry. Wynette decided to re-instate the teen intervention program, make it a nonprofit to reach a larger group of youths and add essential skill sets to ensure their personal success and sustainability thus, creating THE STUDIO PLACE. A creative pod-like environment with a holistic approach to the challenges that face today’s youths. Young men and women can learn computer skills, communication and presentation, personal development, marketing and event planning.
